Bronx bus rider slashes woman who pet her dog

A woman suspected of slashing two fellow passengers on a bus in the Bronx after one of them tried to pet her service dog has been arrested, according to reports.

In the Bronx, New York on Monday, the two victims – aged 20 and 22 – were believed to be riding the bus with suspect Shekema Young, 38.

The victims where then said to try to pet the suspects dog, before Young allegedly swiped at the victims with a knife.

The older victim sustained two large gashes over her eyebrow, as well as another two lacerations on her face – her wounds needed 12 stitches. Another victim had a wound on her left arm, but is said to be fine.
