Jericho Werrell who was a suspect in a double homicide was again detained by US Marshals after his mother and uncle turned him in the next day.
Jericho fled around noon on Tuesday from a Department of Social Services building where juvenile court hearings are held.
The 13-year-old boy appeared to be connected to a murder case when deputies found two brothers, Frank Thomas, 34, and Adam Thomas, 33, dead in their home.
Authorities said several law enforcement agencies were looking for him, including by air with the help of helicopters.
