According to Chicago news 14 people were injured in a shooting at a funeral home Tuesday as the city.
Around 6:25 p.m. Chicago officers said dozens of rounds were fired in Chicago’s Gresham neighborhood, injuring several people.
Nine people were taken to the hospital after a speeding car opened fire during a funeral service
The shooting occurred amid a spike in gun violence that has hit minority communities already struggling through the coronavirus pandemic.
70 people were also shot in the city over the weekend, and another 25 people were struck by gunfire on Monday.
