56 Year-Old Jolynn McCabe of Fremont was badly beaten by police after being placed in Santa Rita Jail for alcoholism.
McCabe who has been battling her alcohol addiction for 16 Years realized she needed help asked her husband to call 911 hoping paramedics would show up to take her to rehab.
McCabe says that her plan quickly backfired on September 13th when officers arrived and a confrontation with them broke out. The 56 year-old grandmother who weighs 115 pounds was placed in a full-body restraint before being sifted off to Santa Rita Jail in Dublin. At the jail, a run-in with deputies left her almost unrecognizable with bruises on her face.
