15 Year-Old Jayden was missing the entire day and his father Mark Morrissey Joking texted him “Are you still alive, son?” that’s when his family learned he was struck by lightning while having fun surfing with a couple of his friends.
North of Sydney Saturday less than a hour later after Mark texted his son he received the shocking news his child was killed by lightning when he was out surfing with two friends on Australia’s east coast, just north of Sydney, on Saturday.
Sources tells us that Jay and friends was out of the water when the storm came.
After he was hit by lightning, “he clutched his chest and dropped,” the father added. “It hit him directly.
Dad: “If I can give one message, it’s hug your kids in the morning and let them know that you love them because you never know… It might be the last time that you ever see them.”
