6-year-Old Kingston Frazier was asleep in the backseat of his mother’s car while she ran into a grocery store in Jackson, Mississippi when two males stole her car out of the parking lot and sped off with Kingston in the backseat.
At around 10:53 a.m., authorities found the vehicle, a silver 2000 Toyota Camry, in Gluckstadt, off of Holmes Avenue. Police arrested one of the suspects, 18-year-old Dwan Wakefield.
The other suspect, 18-year-old DeAllen Washington is still on the run.
Officials said the young boy died from a gunshot wound while sitting in the backseat of the vehicle.
