A 40 Year-old Connecticut man was arrested for stabbing a Walmart employee over the price of milk.
According to police Hichman Asfir stabbed one of the cashiers with a knife after she scanned a gallon of milk and told him the wrong price.
The incident happened on Sunday afternoon at a Walmart in Waterbury.
Asfir allegedly grabbed the cashier by her hair and then stabbed her in the head with a folding knife.
Officers who responded to the 911 call found Asfir sitting down with the knife they later seized.
The cashier was taken to Saint Mary’s Hospital to be treated for a puncture wound behind her left ear.
Asfir was arrested on charges of first-degree assault and 2nd-degree breach of peace, and ordered held on $500k bond.
