According to Pix 11 a woman is now behind bars after stabbing her boyfriend to death after he requested the password to her phone.
Police said on Monday they first responded to a stabbing at 311 East 188th Street at 6:27 p.m. Sunday, according to an NYPD news Kedwin Valerio, 25, was found to be suffering a stab woun d to the chest and was transported by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival, police said.
Laura Montanez, 21, has been taken into custody and is expected to be charged with second-degree murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon.
She is believed to have killed Valerio after he demanded the password to her phone, police said.
