The classic animated 1930 Looney Toons cartoon will strip Yosemite Sam and Elmer Fudd of their pistols and rifles in response to the united states gun violence.
According to the people behind the show, the characters will continue to use knives and TNT to hunt Bugs instead of guns.
Executive producer Peter Browngardt told The New York Times ‘We’re not doing guns. “But, we can do cartoony violence TNT, the Acme stuff. All that was kind of grandfathered in.”
Warner Bros has produced the series and released a clip that featured Elmer using a scythe to try catching Bugs Bunny instead.
