Trap Queen is the debut single by Paterson New Jersey  rapper Fetty Wap which appeared on his self-titled debut album in (2015)….To be honest the song was a hit and has over 400 Million views on Youtube, but today Wap is being Sued by a  songwriter who claims Fetty stole his beat without his permission.

Lazar Lakic stated in the lawsuit that he was the first to purchase the rights to the a instrumental  called, “Hello” in 2014 from producer Tony Fadd and was surprised to hear it sampled in Fetty’s “Trap Queen” single.

Lakic says Fadd contacted him in January 2015 in an attempt to buy back the rights to “Hello,” but Lakic declined. “Trap Queen” ended up going 4x platinum in the US, and Lakic says he never got a cut.

Navarro Gray, Fetty’s attorney, tells TMZ … Fetty legally bought the beat from Fadd and has the contract to prove it. So if Lakic is awarded damages, Fetty says he’ll go after Fadd to cover it.

Lakic is suing for profits from the banger. He also wants to destroy all copies and stop all sales of “Trap Queen” … which would damn near impossible at this point.
