Willie Maxwell born June 7, 1990, better known as Fetty Wap, began taking interest in music in 2013.
Wap is best known for his 2014 hit single “Trap Queen,” which peaked at number 2 on the United States Billboard Hot 100 in May 2015. Today he has 4 songs in the Top 10 of the Hot Rap Songs Chart (“Again,” “679,” “My Way,” and “Trap Queen”. He signed with 300 Entertainment in November 2014 and is set to release his self-titled debut album in 2015. He was also chosen as part of the XXL magazine 2015 Freshman Class.
On Wednesday (Aug. 26) he took to his instagram page to post the cover art for his first album dropping on September 25 2015 which is untitled for now.
Last Week Fetty Wap delivered some great news that he will give a free performance at his former high school (East Side) in Paterson New Jersey.
Only 1,200 reserved students received tickets for safety reasons.
Today 8/27/2015 rapper Fetty receives the 2nd Key to his City from the 46th Mayor Jose ‘joey’ Torres of the City .
Victor Cruz of the New York Giants was the first to receive the key to the city of Paterson for his role in the Super Bowl XLVI victory over the New England Patriots.
