Former star of “The Voice” was shot dead Friday night by a gunman who opened fire at a Florida concert.

Members of the band Before You Exit were signing autographs after a concert at Orlando’s Plaza Live when a male suspect shot Grimmie.
The unidentified suspect was tackled by Grimmie’s brother and fatally shot himself in the ensuing struggle, police said.
Grimmie, known for her covers of pop songs such as Nelly’s “Just A Dream,” was taken to the hospital in critical condition and later died.
