Rapper Kevin Gates appeared in court today 4/26/2017 to deal with his gun case.
Gates pleaded guilty for his original gun possession charge and was sentenced to 30 months in prison.
The warrant was issued because Kevin failed to appear in court for the 2013 gun case.
Kevin has been in jail since March 30, will be transferred to the Illinois Department of Corrections.
