Woman receives 205k in lawsuit after cop removed her tampon during cavity search.

The city of San Antonio has agreed to payout $205,000 to a Texas woman who sued them over an embarrassing cavity search.

Natalie Simms, 40 said in a lawsuit that a SAPD detective pulled down her shorts in public and inappropriately searched her vagina for illegal drugs.

Ms. Simms stated that female Detective Mara Wilson shined a flashlight into her underwear, reached in and pulled out her tampon.

The suit references video footage taken from a squad car camera that appears to show Simms raising objections when it appeared Wilson was ready to probe her anus to continue the search.
