Man Faked His Own Kidnapping to Get Out of Work.

An Arizona man was arrested after officers found out he lied about being kidnapped just to stay home from work.

19 Year-old Brandon Soules told officers that two masked men kidnapped him near his vehicle, struck him in the back of his head and knocked him unconscious.

On Feb. 10th around 5;25 p.m. police responded to a call at about a male subject whose hands were bound behind his back with a belt and a bandana stuffed in his mouth.

Upon arrival Soules told the Coolidge police that the men drove him around before they dumped him on the street. 

During an investigation authorities reviewed surveillance videos in the area and found nothing to corroborate his story.

Hospital records showed that Mr. Soules had no concussion or injury to his head….he later confessed that his story was  fabricated.

On Feb. 18th 19 Year-old Brandon Soules pleaded guilty for falsely reporting that he’d been kidnapped.

He was ordered to pay a $550 fine.
