Video shows a man slapping a TV reporter’s buttocks’ on live TV while she was covering a popular race in Savannah, Georgia, on Dec. 7.
On Tuesday Callaway pleaded guilty to sexual battery, he admitting to slapping the backside of news reporter Alex Bozarjian while she gave a live report during the 10K Run race.
Bozarjian can be seen pausing in shock, then her jaw dropped during before continuing.
“To the man who smacked my butt on live TV this morning: You violated, objectified, and embarrassed me,” Bozarjian later tweeted. “No woman should EVER have to put up with this at work or anywhere!! Do better.”
Callaway was sentenced to a year of probation and fined $1,000.
