NEW YORK: NYPD arrested 35 Year-Old Marquis Ventura on Saturday after he was spotted by a Transit officer.
Ventura who authorities identified as homeless randomly attacked Ghostbusters star Rick Moranis on the Upper West Side in October over the weekend.
Surveillance footage shows the moment the man walk past Moranis and sucker punched him in the head, knocking the 67-year-old star to the ground.
Officers said that prior to this incident Ventura tried to steal champagne from a Varick Street store and started throwing punches once confronted. The employee allegedly followed him as he tried to get away on the subway, leading to another fight.
Marquis is currently being held in police custody and Rick Moranis is doing fine as well.
