Phoenix parents found 5,000 fentanyl pills stashed in their child’s toy after picking it up from a thrift store in El Mirage.
The plush glow worm stuffed toy designed for young children was filled with fentanyl said Phoenix police Sgt.
The couple inspected the toy before giving it to their child, and then called the police when they found the pills.
The drugs were packed in a sandwich bag that was hidden inside the glowing toy on Saturday.
