Florida shooting suspect Nikolas Cruz arrives at Broward County jail.

Nikolas Cruz, the 19-year-old teenager who allegedly killed at least 17 people at a Florida high school on Wednesday, arrived to the Broward County jail early in the morning on Thursday.

Federal police brought Cruz to the local hospital, arresting him two hours after the shooting on Wednesday early afternoon.

They brought him in jail early Thursday while the investigations continued overnight on the scene. The corpses of 15 victims are reportedly still in the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, in Parkland, while 2 are held in the local hospital.

A further dozen injured people were transported to the local hospital.

Cruz, a former student expelled for disciplinary reasons, allegedly opened fire with an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle on Wednesday, wearing a gas mask.
