A 13-year-old 8th-grader was taken into custody for stabbing his English teacher in the chest with a long butcher knife during a class change at Trickum Middle School in Gwinnett County on Monday.
Sources say that the student called his teacher over seeming to need help, when he allegedly took an 8 inch butcher knife out of his bag and stabbed her.
The school district is not publicly releasing the name or the condition of the teacher, and the boy’s identity has also not been released.
