24-year-old teacher Samantha Cox was arrested after a shocking video caught the teacher doing cocaine inside her classroom.
Cox was charged on Monday with felony drug possession and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia after officer had a K-9 search her class and car.
The dog led officers to a center drawer in Cox’s desk, which contained “a clear tightly twisted bag with multiple small rolled up pieces of tin foil.”
The English teacher said she’d usually snort before class starts but was feeling sick and running late so it had to be done during break..
Cox was released from a Lake County jail after posting a $10,000 bond.
