A TikTok challenge leaves 16 year-old Football star Mason Dark severely disfigured, with burns covering almost 80% of his body.
The challenge involved using flammable aerosols to create miniature flamethrowers.
Mason’s family recalled hearing him screaming in his Wake Forest, North Carolina home, moments before they saw the teenager rush outside and jumping into a lake with 75 percent of his body burned.
He was rushed to the hospital where he remains in the UNC Burn Center.
