Video captured two college students being dragged out of a vehicle in Atlanta on Saturday evening.

The incident came hours after Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms enforced a 9 o’clock curfew to stop riots throughout the city.

Officers can be seen using excessive force on 20-year-old Spelman College student Teniyah Pilgrom and 22-year-old Messiah Young, a graduate of Morehouse College.

APD officers opened the door, pushed the female on the passenger side to the ground and used a Taser to get the driver out of a car.

She was taken into custody. Her crime? Nothing. She was not charged and later released.

Two officers were fired and three others were put on desk duty after viewing the footage.

Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms said “Some time during the night, I saw very disturbing video of two young college students who were in downtown Atlanta yesterday evening,” “The use of force is never acceptable.”
