TMZ.com reported that Sapp was booked into jail after being apprehended by police at approximately 7 a.m.
Two women say that they were escorts and went to Sapp’s Hotel room, where an argument broke out over money.
The argument turned physical and the women suffered with injuries.
When police Sapp was questioned and he admitted involvement in the act of prostitution, but denied assaulting the females.”
Both women involved in the incident received citations from police — one for prostitution, the other for a violation of the City’s escort permit requirements. Both women were released.
