27-year-old Chicago woman was shot in the shoulder while streaming on Facebook live.
Labritney Austin, 29 of University Park has been arrested and charged after she shot a woman during a argument around 2:55 p.m. on the South Side.
Police announced Friday that she’s charged with aggravated battery by discharging a firearm.
Austin turned herself in to Chicago police around 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, less than two hours after the shooting was broadcast live and widely shared on the social media platform.
The woman who was shot was broadcasting on Facebook while she argued with Austin, who was in a car in the 6400 block of South Calumet Avenue in the Parkway Gardens neighborhood on the South Side, police said.
She was scheduled to appear in bond court Friday.
