Woman read Obituaries, robbed homes of grieving family members while they were attending the funerals.

A 26 year-old Bronx woman was arrested for burglarizing the homes of the grieving family members while they were attending the funerals.

Latonia Shelecia Stewart alleged burglar preyed on the bereaved by reading obituaries online.

Stewart was arraigned on Wednesday on a 22-count indictment charging her with burglary, grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property and other charges.

It’s alleged she burgled at least half a dozen homes in in Westchester County.

Stewart would look up the obituaries of the person who died and then track down where their loved ones lived — assuming they wouldn’t be home during the funeral.

She would allegedly steal jewelry and other personal items from the residences, which were found ransacked by the relatives returning home from the burial service.
