According to Tuko.co.ke 26 Year-Old Gertrude Ngoma became so tired of waiting for her boyfriend of eight years to propose and marry her that she decided to sue him.
Ngoma said that she believes her 28 year-old boyfriend Herbert Salaliki has a side-piece after discovering him texting another woman.
In his defence, Hebert said he was not right financially and couldn’t afford getting married and also blamed Ngoma for not giving him the needed attention.
Gertrude and Herbert have a child together and the latter has already organized a dowry payment.
Judge Evelyn Nalwize advised both that reconciliation was the best way to go as there was no evidence of any marriage yet.
