Video of a confrontation between a black software engineer and a white man went viral over the weekend.
Chris Cukor of SF Bay Area calls police on Black software engineer for being in an apartment building.
You can hear Cukor’s son begging his father not to call the police.
The video went viral when Tariq Nasheed of Foundational Black America shared it on Twitter on Saturday.
The white man was identified by activists as a YouTube employee.
The man reportedly deleted his social media profiles after the video went viral.
So Chris Cukor and his brother blamed police in 2013 for not responding to non-emergency calls resulting in his father’s death but decides to call police for a racist false report in 2019 https://t.co/IDYF43vBfh

The kid, oh, just crushed my heart there. Dude, listen to your boy. I’m not understanding why people think this is acceptable behavior?

Omg his son is begging him not to do this and he just goes all in on being a racist. I hope his son remembers this and doesn’t become like that man.

His own child knew better & yet he still called the police. How embarrassing for the child to watch his father do the very thing that has caused Black men & Black women to be brutalized by the 👮♀️. Did you hear the fear in his voice pleading w/his father not to call the 👮♀️. RACISM
